OWN NEWS
A few weeks ago we closed the office and headed off to the Black Country Living Museum for a staff day. We spent a lovely afternoon trying to solve challenges with the Crystal Maze event from GoToEvents, it was a really fun afternoon and the challenges were more difficult than they looked when a timer is counting down in the background! The final dome where teams had to collect the gold tickets was particularly tricky, they made it look so easy on the TV programme, we didn’t have any team members locked in the challenges though, (despite a team being disqualified for breaking the rules!)
There was a lot of laughter and it was great to see everyone having a good time, it was lovely to hear the staff day still being talked about afterwards. Thank you to the Museum for hosting our event and to GoToEvents for a fantastic afternoon.
Congratulations to Kim from our Audit department who has passed one of the advanced level ICAEW papers. Only one more to go before she is qualified, keep up the great work Kim!
Congratulations also to Harjot, who has now passed her exams and is now fully AAT level 4 qualified!
This week we said goodbye to Iain Hughes who leaves us after over 40 years for a well-earned rest! It was lovely to have all the staff together to help him celebrate and we wish him a happy and healthy retirement, the office won’t be the same without him!
