Midlands Air Ambulance Charity
We have had a very busy few months, we are proud to have partnered with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, our chosen Charity for at least the next five years, to help them raise much needed funds for their life saving missions. They need to raise around £11 million each year in order to provide the life saving missions and as they do not receive any Government funding, they reply 100% on the generosity of businesses and individuals. To raise funds we organised a “spring clean event” asking for donations of quality unwanted items for Midlands Air Ambulance to sell in their charity shops, we had a bake sale and attended a Golf Day organised by the Bears Business Club from Edgbaston Cricket Club. We are delighted to announce that so far we have raised a huge £3834!
Mental Health Week
It was mental health week this month and their topic was anxiety. Our Mental Health Ambassador Jody Done organised some treats for staff and supported them by sending out motivational quotes. She organised a breakfast, encouraging staff to come together and talk, each staff member received a box of sweets to show them how much they are appreciated and a dress in green day which included a pizza lunch to bring staff together, ensuring that they take a break and relax.
Redstar Raptors
We are proud to sponsor The Redstar Raptors football team. We have been following the team’s progress this season and are delighted to announce that they won the Lichfield + District Recreational League Blue Medal Final Trophy! The boys and their coaches put their heart and souls into their training and matches and it is great to see their efforts rewarded. Well done Boys!
