Audit registration

We are registered to carry out audit work by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW); details about our audit registration can be viewed here* (UK), under reference number C008627496 and here** (Ireland) under reference number EWC008627496. UK statutory audit work is subject to the ICAEW Audit Regulations and Guidance, the International Standards on Auditing (UK) and the Ethical Standard issued by the Financial Reporting Council. Irish statutory audit work is subject to the ICAEW Audit Regulations and Guidance, the International Standards on Auditing (Ireland) and the Ethical Standard issued by the Irish Auditing & Accounting Supervisory Authority.

Designated Professional Body

CK are registered with the ICAEW as a Designated Professional Body.  Whilst we are not authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 we are able to provide certain limited investment services where these are complimentary to, or arise out of, the professional services we are providing to you.

Professional indemnity insurance

Our primary professional indemnity insurers are RSA Insurance Group, 9th Floor, One Plantation Place, 30 Fenchurch Street, London EC3M. The territorial coverage is worldwide excluding professional business carried out from an office in the United States of America or Canada and excludes any action for a claim brought in any court in the United States or Canada.
